I suffer from a mental illness  and epilepsy.  I am an amateur radio operator who never will have the extroversion to get OTA.  My callsign is K1VZX, hence the domain name, which is a pseudonym for my name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have some ambition soon to update the website with photos of Pittsburgh.  I was a lot more active in photography back in Austin, but I still have some good glass and a nice and much smaller camera that I&#8217;ve even forgotten the model of.  It&#8217;s an APS-C sensor mirrorless with approximately 30MP resolution, which although won&#8217;t be good for night photography, I don&#8217;t intend to do much of that, at least not yet.  It&#8217;s still a bit too cool in Pittsburgh to wander around, and much harder to get around for me still.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although my background is electrical engineering, I&#8217;m looking to up-shift in my career and looking into getting at least an electrician license in the City of Pittsburgh where I currently reside.  While I was in my manic state, my mind kept calling Pittsburgh home, so home it has become.  I have lived here longer than anywhere else since Austin, TX where I lived for 3 and 1\/2 years approximately.  This October (2026) will make 3 years and put me at the ripe age of 41, which is adequate, but doesn&#8217;t leave much time to correct my dismal financial situation from being legally disabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Below is a QSL card to my grandfather from K1AZX.  If you&#8217;re Ed, I hope you enjoy a memory still available to you from years ago.
